Unit Amal does humanitarian work, says PAS Youth


PETALING JAYA: PAS Youth has come out in defence of its volunteer corps, Unit Amal, after Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s announcement of possible police action against them.

Its chief Suhaizan Kayat said the volunteers were only involved in humanitarian and social activities, unlike the PPS, which was set up by the DAP-led Penang government.
