GEORGE TOWN: All vehicles using the Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah from the mainland to the Penang Island will enjoy a 20% discount on toll rates, in conjunction with the 57th Merdeka Day celebrations from midnight to 11.59pm on Aug 31.
According to a statement from the Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd public relations and communications department, those entering the bridge from the Plus Expressway at the bridge integrated toll plaza/Bandar Cassia Plus toll plaza, specifically at Plaza A, will also enjoy the same discounted rate.
