MH17: Health Ministry officer was part of 'covert operation' negotiation team, says D-G


PETALING JAYA: A Health Ministry personnel was part of the team involved in negotiations with pro-Russian separatist to get access to the bodies of the victims of the downed Malaysian Airlines flight MH17.

In a series of blog posts, Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said a senior official from the Ministry was a part of the 12-man team that negotiated the release of the victims' remains, acquisition of the plane's black boxes and access to the crash site.
