Cop under probe over missing RM5,000 from suspect's account


IPOH: A policeman, in his 40s, was believed to have withdrawn RM5,000 from the account of a suspect who was under a seven-day remand.

According to Ipoh deputy OCPD Supt Ahmad Termizi Abdul Haq, the policeman had retrieved the suspect's ATM card and succeeded in obtaining his pin number before withdrawing the money in a bank in Ipoh Garden here on Aug 11.
