KOTA KINABALU: A man who allegedly stole an iPad from a handphone trader was apprehended by bystanders as he tried to escape with the device at the Buhavan Square in Penampang near here.
The 40-year-old illegal immigrant was apprehended after the trader shouted for help as soon as he was robbed, prompting bystanders to chase down and apprehend the suspect in the 11am incident on Thursday.
