Myanmar illegal falls to his death from third floor of hospital


KOTA BARU: A Myanmar illegal immigrant who turned hospital bedsheets into ropes to escape authorities fell to his death from the third floor of the Raja Perempuan Zainab II hospital here on Tuesday.

Muhammad Hashim, 47, who was receiving treatment for tuberculosis and was to be deported, was found sprawled face down by a security guard at 6.30am.
