Hadi postpones plan to table hudud Bill


KUALA LUMPUR: PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang (pic) has postponed his plan to table a Private Member’s Bill to pave the way for the party’s version of the hudud in Kelantan when the Dewan Rakyat meeting reconvenes next month.

He said the move was to allow a state and federal technical committee to undertake a study on how the Islamic penal code would be implemented.
