KAJANG: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim hit back at Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin who had mocked him for wearing a Selangor football jersey at an event recently.

“The Sports Minister asked why I was wearing a Selangor jersey when I was from Pulau Pinang. I see people wearing Manchester jerseys … Are they from Manchester?” he said to shrieks of laughter at the packed Taman Mesra community hall in Kajang.
