Sarawak longboat mishap: Four more bodies recovered


DARO: The search team have recovered four more bodies of Saturday’s boat tragedy. 

The discovery was made as early as 6.45am this morning with the first body identified as Naibi Saibi, 63. 

The second body, of Borhan Baldan, 68, was discovered around 8am. 

The third and fourth bodies, found at around 9am and 9.30am respectively, have been identified as Kalsum Mat, 50, and Riji Dalol, 60.

Rescuers said that the bodies were found not far apart from each other near the spot where the boat capsized. 

The search team recovered the body of Norsiah Abdullah, 45, at around 3pm, late afternoon Sunday.

All the bodies have been brought to Daro Hospital for their identities to be verified.

Three more bodies are still missing.
