146 cases for various offences recorded during ‘Ops Harga 2’


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 147 offences involving wholesalers and retailers were recorded with seizures worth RM16,834 and compounds amounting to RM21,050 during raids conducted by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK) throughout the country in the operation codenamed 'Ops Harga 2' during the first two weeks of this year.

Its Director of Enforcement, Mohd Roslan Mahayuddin said most of the offences were for not displaying the price tags and under the Weights and Measures Act 1972.
