Malaysian cops hailed as Asean's best


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian police is recognised as the leading law enforcement agency in the region and it is for this reason that the Asean Chief of Police (Aseanapol) secretariat is sited at Bukit Aman.

Secretariat police services director Asst Comm Mohamad Anil Shah Abdullah said Malaysia was given the honour of housing the Aseanapol headquarters here given its track record in combating trans-national crime.
