Perak deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk A. Paramasivam said the bodies were found by the man's wife at the office garage at about 9pm.

"The wife was worried about the husband after he did not return home and lodged a missing persons report at about 8pm.

"She and her family then went to the office and saw smoke coming out from the garage," he said.

"They discovered her husband's body together with another woman in the car with the engine still running," he said. The woman's car was parked nearby.

DCP Paramasivam said there were no wounds on both victims.

He said the case could be classified as double suicide, pending a post mortem.

He declined to speculate on the relationship between the two.
