Netizens fume over candi demolition in Lembah Bujang

PETALING JAYA: Netizens took to Twitter to vent their anger over the reported demolition of an ancient candi, or tomb temple, in Lembah Bujang, Kedah, to make way for a housing development project.

They strongly condemned the move, pointing out that the centuries-old candi, located in Sungai Batu and listed as site number 11, formed a priceless part of the heritage site.
