Budget 2014: GST at 6% from April 2015

THE Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be introduced on April 1, 2015, at a rate of 6%.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the sales and services taxes would be abolished and these would be replaced by a single tax – the GST.
