Marini’s on 57 has the most breathtaking view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline and it’s definitely one of the most romantic restaurants in the city.
As its name suggests, Marini’s in on the 57th floor of the Petronas tower and presents an incredible panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur in all its glory.
With the combination of the candle-light, mouth-watering food, and spectacular views, Marini’s is definitely a place you can fall in love... However, this amazing restaurant comes at a steep price. But I vouch that the food is worth the money!
2) La Risata, Ampang
La Risata serves hearty Italian food in a comfortable and cozy environment. Its old-fashioned Italian decor with authentic Italian food makes it a perfect place to snuggle up with your loved one and share a plate of pasta (Lady and the Tramp style perhaps?).
Don’t forget to try their tiramisu - it’s definitely a must-have for dessert lovers.
3) Bistro à Table, Petaling Jaya
Bistro à Table means “to the table!” in French, a common phrase used in French households to gather family and friends around the table to eat.
Tucked away in Petaling Jaya, this eatery is a great place to enjoy modern French cuisine and revel in the romantic atmosphere.
You can’t help to feel relaxed while being surrounded by beautiful hanging orchids, vintage posters and delicious food - definitely a great place to go for a romantic date night.
4) Acme Bar & Coffee, The Troika Kuala Lumpur
Acme decor is timeless, the owner says that he aims for visitors to be taken back to a place that feels personal to them as they walk into his restaurant.
The first thing I noticed was their gorgeous counter top at the entrance and their beautiful flower arrangements. The restaurant has a very modern industrial look, with lots of steel and glass with vintage decor - it all comes together nicely and I found it very romantic.
The food was excellent too, dessert and coffee is a must!
5) Leonardo's, Jalan Bangkung
Leonardo’s boasts a cozy and intimate atmosphere with its exposed brick walls and mesmerizing art pieces. Accompanied by the dimmed lighting, impeccably prepared food, excellent wine and smooth tunes - Leonardo’s is a great restaurant for romancing your darling.
6) The Hill, Damansara Heights
The Hill is a great place to chill and relax with your date for a romantic night out.

PRIME has one of the best steaks I have ever had. With their grand cushioned chairs and swanky decor, this restaurant is a great place to indulge your date with immaculate food and wine. It will definitely be a prime dining experience!

With the spectacular view of the city skyline, the chic decor and striking jellyfish swimming around - Le Midi has romance in the air.
