PUTRAJAYA: The call for Malaysia to sever diplomatic ties with Iran, which have been blamed for spreading banned Syiah (Shi’ite) teachings, is unjustified, says Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman.
He said the Syiah issue was a domestic matter and to be dealt with internally by the concerned authorities.
