Union denies knowing about deputy D-G’s ‘transfer’

KUALA LUMPUR: In an about-turn, the Peninsular Malaysia Customs Officers Union (PMCOU) has denied knowing anything about a purported transfer order served on Customs deputy director-general II Datuk Shaharuddin Ibrahim one month before his murder.

PMCOU president Ibrahim Ahmad, who was quoted as having said so earlier, said the transfer was merely a rumour.
