Stay out of Umno’s internal matters, Puad tells the media

PUTRAJAYA: The political differences between Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil and an outspoken Umno division leader are a private matter which should not be reported by the media, said Datuk Dr Puad Zarkashi.

Dr Puad, an Umno supreme council member, was referring to an article in The Star last month in which Cheras Umno chief Datuk Seri Syed Ali Alhabshee had advised Shahrizat to make way for new blood in the wing following her decision to defend her post as Wanita chief.
