49,300 goodie boxes for security staff


KUALA LUMPUR: The Welfare Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti) has prepared 49,300 boxes of Hari Raya goodies to be distributed to security forces personnel.

Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, who is also Bakti president, said the goodies, worth RM468,350, would be handed over to Armed Forces chief Jeneral Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency director-general Maritime Admiral Datuk Mohd Amdan Kurish.
