KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Malayan Banking Bhd, has been appointed Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of the Economic Planning Unit.
He would be made a Senator on June 5, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced Wednesday.
