LAHAD DATU: A soldier transporting supplies died in a road accident while heading to Bandar Cendera-wasih, in the Felda Sahabat region, from Lahad Datu town.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said the soldier sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries later.
“I believe he lost control of the truck and crashed,” he told a press conference last night.
