Children abandoned by mum opt to spend holidays with paternal grandfather

KUALA TERENGGANU: For 10-year-old Kamarul Hamizan Kaman and his three siblings, the memory of being abandoned by their mother under a bridge here two years ago is still fresh in their mind.

So much so that they can't bear the thought of letting their paternal grandfather, Roni Abdul Ghani, 64, spend Hari Raya Haji in Pulau Duyong without them.
