NFC case: Shamsubahrin given RM1.7mil to bribe cops, court hears


KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman Datuk Shamsubahrin Ismail was given RM1.7mil to bribe officers involved in the investigation of the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC), the Session Court heard during the first day of his trial.

First witness, investigating officer ASP Mohd Nor Hasni Maizam Othman, 36, told the court that he received a call from NFC financial manager Hasimah Ahmad, who told him about the payment and its purpose.
