KUALA LUMPUR: Police have uncovered another multi-million ringgit call centre scam syndicate, this time involving locals with the arrest of five people on Thursday.
The syndicate members would pose as Bukit Aman police officers or bank officers, informing their victims that their bank account was being investigated for suspected illegal activities.
