SHAH ALAM: Former lawyer N. Pathmanabhan had a motive to kill cosmetics millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and her three companions when he could not come up with RM3mil to pay her, the High Court heard.
DPP Saiful Edris Zainuddin said Sosilawati went to Ladang Gadong in Banting on Aug 30, 2010 to meet Pathmanabhan to discuss land matters and to expedite a RM3mil cheque dated Sept 9, 2010.
