PM: Govt can declare Jalan Sultan shops as heritage


PETALING JAYA: The government is prepared to declare buildings affected by the MRT project in Jalan Sultan as heritage sites, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

He said he had spoken to the affected shopowners in Jalan Sultan and had assured them that their shophouses above the tunnels for the MRT project would be safe.
