MPs want to know how many of 1mil M’sian expats have been lured back

KUALA LUMPUR: The number of Malaysian expatriates who have returned to the country to work became a point of contention in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday.

After hearing from Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk S.K. Devamany that about a million Malaysians were estimated to be working abroad, several MPs demanded to know how many had come back.
