Badrul Hisham not guilty of contempt of state assembly

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor State Assembly's Rights and Privileges Committee has ruled that Port Klang assemblyman Badrul Hisham Abdullah was not guilty of contempt of the state assembly.

The committee, however, ruled that Badrul Hisham's lawyer, Datuk Mohd Hafarizam Harun was guilty of failing to attend the hearing Friday even though he had been given notice and ordered him to pay a fine of RM20,000.
