31 arrested for abuse of government fuel subsidy

IPOH: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), in collaboration with the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry, has arrested 31 suspects since Nov 22 for the abuse of government-subsidised diesel.

The suspects were arrested during Ops Nano, conducted primarily in Perak, Pahang, Perlis and Kedah where authorities seized approximately 458,000 litres of subsidised diesel worth more than RM500,000.
