Kannan says he is Makkal Sakti’s new president

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Makkal Sakti secretary-general R. Kannan was named the party's new president after a leadership tussle.

He won the post unchallenged in the Barisan Nasional-friendly party's second annual general meeting and emergency general meeting attended by about 250 people on Saturday.
