THE House passed amendments in the Anti-Trafficking in Persons 2007 Bill to provide for stiffer action against criminals involved in human trafficking.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the Bill intended to tackle the human trafficking problem in a more comprehensive manner, including providing stiffer punishments to offenders.
