PETALING JAYA: Traditional Terengganu dishes will be served on selected Malaysia Airlines flights from June 1 to July 31.
Among the signature dishes are Nasi Dagang, Lompat Tikam, Gulai Ikan Tongkol, Kerabu Laksa, Ikan Pudding Lada, Kerutup Ayam with Nasi Telur and Khasidah.
MAS in-flight general manager Hayati Datuk Ali said the airline decided to team up with publishers of the book Kulit Manis: A Taste of Terengganu’s Heritage to bring authentic Terengganu cuisine onboard.
“The new menu is an opportunity for us to showcase a part of Malaysia’s cultural heritage,” she told reporters yesterday at the launch of the menu.
