No refunds of land lease premiums from state government

THE state government will not refund the premiums which have been paid by landowners under the old land lease renewal policy.

This is because the new policy, which imposes premiums based on a flat rate, will only come into effect on June 1, Second Minister of Planning and Resource Manage­ment Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan said.
