JOHOR BARU: A 44-year-old police inspector was sentenced to two years jail and fined RM10,000 at a Sessions Court here after he was found guilty for accepting bribe amounting to RM2,500.
Insp Ihsan Abdullah, attached to the Johor Baru (North) district police headquarters, was charged with accepting the bribe from Chang Siok Fang, 35, through a middleman Kuang Boon Lan, 32, at Skudai Parade shopping mall at about 10pm on April 2, 2005.
