BREAKING fast is often a family affair for budding musician Yunalis Zarai who is better known as Yuna.
Although she doesn’t get to break fast often with her parents who work outside of Kuala Lumpur, she still has a great time breaking fast with her cousins and friends.
The 23-year-old lass, who lives and works in Subang Jaya, said she was close to her cousins and relatives, who also lived in the same area.
If it is not traditional home-cooked Malay food prepared by her aunties, she eats out with her cousins.
“My favourite food is everything Asian. I love Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Thai and Malay food,”she said.
This Ramadan, Yuna is often dining at the Nirvana Restaurant in USJ 10.
“I grew up eating Indian food so banana leaf fare is a personal favourite,” she said, adding that her favourite dish at the outlet was Masala Chicken.
Yuna is now recording an album which is expected to be released by the end of the year.
She also operates a fashion boutique with her cousins in Subang Jaya.
