Two new directors for police commission


KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian Police Commission has announced the appointment of two new directors.  

Comm Datuk Abdul Razal Bokhari has been appointed the new management director while Comm Datuk Mahsuri Zainal is the new logistic director. 

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan also announced the appointment of the new acting CID director Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani who took over from Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee yesterday. 

Musa, in his speech, said Abdul Razak and Mahsuri were appointed based on their performance and integrity.

He expressed hopes that they would work hard to ensure that the force would be able to implement the proposals suggested in efforts to further improve its performance.  

Later Musa said police would not close Nurin Jazlin Jazimin’s case even if it takes 20 years to solve. 

Police were looking at new leads in the case, he said after the handing over ceremony.  

He also urged the media not to speculate on anything as that could jeopardise investigations.  

Nurin's naked body was found stuffed in a sports bag near a shop lot in Petaling Utama on Sept 20, a month after the eight-year-old girl was reported missing by her father.
