Evidence points to Hanif, Federal Court hears

PUTRAJAYA: The High Court judge erred when he failed to take into account the totality of the evidence that engineer Hanif Basree Abdul Rahman had murdered 22-year-old executive Noritta Samsudin as he was the last person to have sexual intercourse with her before she was killed, the Federal Court heard.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Wong Chiang Kiat said the forensic and scientific evidence pointed out Hanif Basree, 40, as the last person to be with Noritta and that the items which caused her death by asphyxia contained only the DNA of these two persons.
