Azman’s mum dies at 89

KUALA LUMPUR: Zabedah Shahid, the 89-year-old mother of prominent banker Tan Sri Azman Hashim, died at about 11.45am yesterday at the Selayang Hospital.  

The winner of the 1987 Exemplary Mother’s Award, or Ibu Mithali, was laid to rest at the Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetery.
