Datin claims trial in tax case


KUANTAN: A businesswoman claimed trial at a magistrate’s court here for failing to remit RM9,772 to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) based on the scheduled tax deduction. 

Datin Kaniza Mohd Shafie, 41, was said to have failed to remit a total of 12 payments to the IRB director-general as director of Kaniza Holdings Sdn Bhd in Jalan Semambu between January 2003 and December 2004.
