KUALA LUMPUR: The show may be eight years late but for Hong Kong Canto-pop superstar Jacky Cheung, the wait is well worth it.
“It is good to finally be able to stage Snow.Wolf.Lake (SWL) in KL,” said a cheerful Cheung who arrived here yesterday with his female leads Evonne Hsu and Nadia Chan to promote the Chinese stage musical.
“We had plans to bring SWL here in 1997 but our stage props were damaged during that time,” he said.

Cheung and his co-stars completed a three-day run of the musical in Singapore on Sunday and promised to put up an equally good show for Malaysian fans.
Besides the two shows on Nov 25 and Nov 26 at the Putra Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, there might be a third show, said Cheung.
“It will depend on the response here,” he added.
SWL, organised by Galaxy Production, is about a tragic love affair between a poor gardener, Wolf, and Snow who is from a rich family.
The stars appeared before a crowd of screaming fans at the MidValley Megamall after their arrival here.
Also present were Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Fu Ah Kiow and Peter Tay, general manager of marketing for DiGi, the official presenter of the SWL shows in Malaysia.
Tickets will be on sale from Oct 1 and are priced at RM138, RM238, RM388, RM488 and RM688.
Seats are limited to 8,000 per show.
