Andy Lau concert treat for fans in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of Hong Kong heart-throb Andy Lau will get to see their idol when he holds his concert here in December.  

It is the sole show in Asia for his concert tour.

“Andy Lau Vision Tour 2005 Live in Malaysia” may quite possibly become the year’s biggest concert. 

The HK$10mil (RM5mil) production will involve lighting, sound equipment and crew from China, Hong Kong and Japan.  

The concert, which has taken over two years to plan, will feature a grand stage, specially designed costumes, special effects and life-sized animal puppets. 

Lau will perform at Stadium Merdeka on Dec 10 before moving on to Atlantic City and Las Vegas in the United States. 

A pre-launch ticket sale will be held at the Berjaya Times Square here at 7pm on Sept 15. 

The first 300 fans at the counter will be given a free ticket each, courtesy of Berjaya Sports Toto.  

Twenty Malaysian celebrities have been invited to grace the event.  

Nationwide sales will start on Sept 19 with tickets priced at RM348, RM278, RM258, RM238, RM178, RM138 and RM68 (excluding a RM2 ticketing fee).
