Kit Siang denies using AP to import any car

KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang has denied using an Approved Permit (AP) to import any car and has described the allegation by Malaysian Democratic Party secretary-general Wee Choo Keong as “not true.” 

“I have never used an AP to import car and I reserve the right to take legal action against him for making and spreading the defamatory statement,” he said when commenting on Wee’s report with the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) on Tuesday over the APs for car imports purportedly issued to Lim.
