11,000 ICT grads flock for jobs at Great Malaysian Hunt

PUTRAJAYA: The Great Malaysian Job Hunt attracted over 11,000 job seekers. About 10,800 were local graduates in Information Communication Technology (ICT) while only 300 were graduates from foreign universities. 

The disparity has prompted Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis to question whether local graduates are “less marketable” than their foreign-trained peers.
