Tsai thrills fans in first solo concert

HOT STUFF: Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai performing during the “J1 – Jolin Tsai Live 2005” concert at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands on Friday. 

It was a night of non-stop entertainment as Tsai, one of the most popular female singers in Asia, thrilled more than 4,000 fans during the concert. 

In the first of two shows scheduled here, Tsai dazzled the crowd with an array of stunning and sexy costumes accompanied by slick and hyperactive dance moves, while charming everyone with her sweet vocals.  

Among the songs she sang during the two-hour concert were upbeat numbers such as Don’t Stop, You Gotta Know and Pirate, as well as slower numbers like Sky, Do You Still Love Me and The Taste of Lemon Grass. 

Friday’s performance, which was Tsai’s first solo concert in Malaysia, also featured guest artiste Taiwanese singer Loh Chi Xiang.
