Channel 8 compounded
PRIVATE broadcast station, Channel 8, has been slapped with the maximum RM50,000 compound for airing alcoholic drink advertisement during the EURO 2004 in June.Energy, Water and Communications Deputy Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said the maximum compound imposed on the television station reflected the Government’s serious view of the incident.
