PETALING JAYA: Brushing aside charges that they have copied the work of Pakistan's ghazal singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Malaysia's most bankable nasyid group, Raihan, said their current hit Allahu is all about praising the Almighty.
Group spokesman Che Amran Idris said they acknowledged that the song is Nusrat Fateh's signature tune, which speaks of love, passion and humanity but, he stressed, the question of plagiarism does not arise at all.
