BANTING: The younger brother of a fugitive who escaped from Tanjung Sepat police station last month was charged at the magistrate’s court here for the murder of an 18-year-old girl.
Kher Thien Heng, 26, was charged with murdering See Sheau Fang along with another person, who is still at large.
Thien Heng’s brother Kher Thian Hock, 29, who is being sought in connection with the murder of the school leaver was reported to have escaped from the Tanjung Sepat police station on March 13.

Thian Hock escaped after he climbed out through a ceiling of a toilet located outside the lock-up.
No plea was recorded from Thien Heng who was produced in the chambers of magistrate Noridah Adam at 11.45am yesterday. The accused was not represented.
According to the charge filed by prosecuting officer Chief Insp Ranjit Singh, the murder was committed at 44 Jalan Wira 24, Taman Perwira in Teluk Panglima Garang here, between 9.30am and 5.30pm on Feb 28.
The accused was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
Noridah fixed mention for June 2 to allow the prosecution sufficient time to produce its chemist report.
Sheau Fang whose body was recovered from a hole in front of a house on March 8 was reported missing from her home in Sungai Jarum on Feb 26.
Noridah also declined to extend the remand of a CID police officer arrested on Sunday to assist investigation into the escape of the suspect from police custody.
The officer who was attached with the Kuala Langat District police headquarters here was released at 2.30pm on police bail.
