Klang suspects remanded

KLANG: The Sepang magistrate’s court granted a 14-day remand order for five male suspects to facilitate investigations into the murder of school-leaver See Sheau Fang.

Magistrate Noridah Adam granted the order sought by police under Section 117 of the Penal Code to investigate the involvement of the five, two of whom are brothers, all in their late 20s, in the murder.

Sheau Fang went missing on Feb 26 and her body was retrieved on Tuesday from a two metre-deep hole in the front lawn of a terraced house in Taman Perwira at Teluk Panglima Garang near here.

Three of the suspects were employed in construction companies as welders and crane operators while the two brothers were unemployed.

Initial investigations showed the victim had left her home in Sungai Jarum with one of the brothers in a Proton Waja before she went missing.
