Chin Peng’s memoirs not banned

KUALA LUMPUR: The Government has not banned Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) leader Chin Peng’s memoirs entitled Chin Peng: My Side of History, the Home Ministry said in a statement issued here yesterday.  

The 527-page book by Ian Ward is based on Chin Peng’s own narration of his involvement in the party.
