KUALA LUMPUR: The Kampar Methodist secondary school’s Alumni Association is organising its 100th anniversary dinner on Oct 11.
Organising chairman Hew Yoon Onn said the dinner, besides being a good opportunity to renew old ties, was also to raise funds for the maintenance of the school building.
Among the former students of the school is Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood, the wife of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Hew said the dinner, to be held at the Kampar Town Padang, would also be used to show the school’s appreciation to those who had contributed immensely to the school.
